After the ROC’s initial report under the United Nations Convention against Corruption was published in March 2018, the Executive Yuan held review meetings in August 2018 and invited 5 international anti-corruption experts as review committee to interview the government agencies and NGOs in Taiwan. A press conference was held, where 47 concluding observations were given.

To confirm the specific means of implementation in concluding observations, the Executive Yuan has prepared 371 performance indicators to be updated with progress by each competent authority every six months. The Ministry of Justice will submit the management and monitoring results to the Central Integrity Committee, Executive Yuan for continuous tracking.

The Ministry of Justice convened 4 meetings between April 27, 2020 to May 6, 2020. The Executive Yuan held a meeting on October 7, 2020 and invited experts and scholars and NGO representatives to participate in reviewing the implementation, conduct mid-term review, and prepare a midterm report to explain the implementation progress, initial results during this period of time, and the subsequent implementation and planning of relevant strategies.
