Delegates from the Ministry of Justice (MOJ) and the Agency Against Corruption (AAC) attended the 39th APEC Anti-Corruption and Transparency Experts Working Group (ACTWG) Meeting in Lima, Peru, from August 14 to 16, 2024.

Deputy Director-General Feng-Liang SHEN of the AAC, MOJ, led a delegation that included Prosecutor Hui-Hsin HUANG of the Department of Prosecutorial Affairs, MOJ; Prosecutor Yi-Shan RO of the Department of International and Cross-Strait Legal Affairs, MOJ; Deputy Director Shu-Chi HUANG and Officer Ju-Hsuan LIN of the Planning Division, AAC, to participate in the 39th ACTWG Meeting.
During the meeting, the AAC reported on the progress and achievements of our nation’s efforts in implementing the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC) and shared experiences regarding the “Government Procurement Integrity Platform.” The delegation also participated in the workshop on “Denying Safe Haven to Corruption through Enhancing Mutual Legal Assistance,” gaining insights into the conditions for judicial cooperation among various economies and international organizations, key considerations for collaboration, and the challenges encountered.
