The “AAC and MJIB Anti-Corruption Works Liaison Meeting” is held once semi-annually for strengthening the liaison and coordination between the Agency Against Corruption (AAC) and Ministry of Justice Investigation Bureau (MJIB). Heads of the MJIB and its subordinated investigation divisions (offices), AAC and related functions, competent authorities at the national and regional levels participated in the meeting. The participants exchanged and shared their views and experience on corruption investigation and security status notification, coordination, and support.

The meetings of 2018 were successfully held and completed on April 23 and September 25, respectively. Further to the reports on corruption investigation, protection and prevention, and the state of pursuit of anti-corruption works presented by AAC, experts and scholars were also invited to deliver keynote speeches. The participants engaged in discussion on cases that required concerted effort of both sides. Six proposals were presented in this year and both sides have reached consensus in teamwork. In the future, AAC will continue to further its bonding with MJIB for integrating the professional standing and distinctive features of both sides for effective law enforcement to yield synergy results.
