The Agency and the Taiwan Ciaotou District Prosecutors Office jointly investigated Hsu X, CEO of Refining Business Division, CPC Corporation, for the water machine project and the 3 Dalin Refinery paint job procurement projects. The accused assisted the manufacturer X in inflating prices and received bribes with criminal intent of NT$14 million, NT$1.2 million, and NT$1.3 million as considerations.

The prosecutor concluded the investigation and found that Hsu X was involved in the alleged offense against the Anti-Corruption Act and prosecuted him for crimes such as accepting bribes by acts that violate and belong to the official duties as well as illicit enrichment of civil servants.
