The Agent and the Taiwan Pingtung District Prosecutors Office jointly investigated the case that Chiu X, the head of the Criminal Investigation Corps of the Pingtung County Government Police Department, took bribes from the whistleblower and then asked for sharing bonus for reporting gained by the whistleblower. During the investigation, the responsible prosecutor and the agents of the Agency seized relevant evidence and cash of NT$160,000.
The case was concluded, and Chiu X was prosecuted by the prosecutor of the Pingtung District Prosecutors Office for the crimes against the Anti-Corruption Act.
