Delegates from the Ministry of Justice (MOJ) and the Agency Against Corruption (AAC) attended the 37th APEC Anti-Corruption and Transparency Experts Working Group (ACTWG) Meetings in Seattle, Washington State, the United States, from July 31st to August 3rd, 2023.

    AAC Deputy Director-General Cheng FENG led the delegation, MOJ Head Prosecutor Yen-Chun LIN, AAC Director Chia-Chen CHI, AAC Section Chief Li-Chieh SUN, AAC Special Agent Ya-Chieh CHEN, AAC Agent Yuan-Ting CHANG and AAC Agent Chen-Hsin KUO to attend the 37th APEC Anti-Corruption and Transparency Experts Working Group (ACTWG) Meetings in Seattle, Washington State, the United States.

    During the meeting, AAC presented the latest progress and achievements in implementing the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC). Furthermore, the MOJ shared its experiences in combating crimes that hinder the development of the green energy industry, under the theme "Combating corruption crimes that obstruct the development of the green energy industry."

    In addition, the MOJ and the AAC participated in the "Public-Private Dialogue on Government Strategies to Promote Ethical Business Conduct" workshop, to understand the experiences and best practices of various economies, as well as the private sector's implementation and challenges concerning ethical business behavior.
