In alignment with International Anti-Corruption Day, the Agency Against Corruption (AAC) held the 2024 Taiwan Transparency Forum on December 9th, 2024. The event integrated the 2nd Integrity Awards Ceremony and the Signing of the UNCAC Review Transparency Pledge, demonstrating Taiwan's dedication to global anti-corruption efforts. Esteemed dignitaries present included François Valérian, Chair of Transparency International; Ketakandriana Rafitoson, Vice Chair; Sang-Hak Lee, Co-Chair of Transparency International, Korea; Ingrida Kalinauskienė, CEO of Transparency International Lithuania; and Darius Mickevičius, Head of the International Cooperation Division at Lithuania's Special Investigation Service, alongside AAC Deputy Director-General Shen-Feng-Liang. The forum facilitated the exchange of insights on international trends in Anti-corruption and successful governance practices with domestic government officials, NGO representatives, and academics. Lively discussions during the event underscored Taiwan's commitment to rooting anti-corruption measures locally while aligning with international standards. The event highlighted Taiwan's achievements in building a transparent government and underscored its aspiration to showcase a “Clean and competent government, Transparent Taiwan” on the global stage.
