On December 10^th, 2024, the Agency Against Corruption (AAC), in collaboration with the Ministry of Transportation and Communications, hosted an international interaction in integrity exchange event. The event welcomed 9 distinguished international dignitaries from 4 countries, including representatives from Transparency International and Lithuania's Special Investigation Service (Specialiųjų Tyrimų Tarnyba, STT). The delegation visited local agencies to explore the practical implementation of Taiwan's Government Procurement Integrity Platforms. Highlights included case studies on the application of integrity platforms for the National Freeway No. 7 and the Danjiang Bridge projects. These presentations showcased Taiwan’s success in locally implementing the international initiative of “Building Open and Transparent Governments.” The event garnered enthusiastic responses and positive feedback from participants. François Valérian, Chair of Transparency International, highly commended Taiwan’s integrity model, recognizing its significant value as an international reference. The exchange further strengthened the foundation for deepening international collaboration in anti-corruption efforts.
