Ambassador Roudy Stanley Penn, Political Attaché Jackson Mérinor and Executive Secretary Anaïs Hsu of the Republic of Haiti to Taiwan visited Agency Against Corruption on May 11, 2026. Ambassador stated that, in Haiti, the Anti-Corruption Unit (ULCC) has made significant progress in recent years in its efforts related to prevention, investigations, and the production of reports. These advances reflect a genuine institutional commitment to promoting a culture of public accountability. It is precisely in this spirit that my visit today takes place: one aimed at opening new avenues of cooperation between AAC and Haiti’s Anti-Corruption Unit. I firmly believe that exchanges between institutions committed to defending public integrity can contribute to the consolidation of democratic values.
This exchange not only deepened mutual understanding between Taiwan and Haiti in the fields of integrity governance and justice, but also laid a solid foundation for the continued promotion of bilateral mechanisms for anti-corruption cooperation and experience sharing in the future.
