Director-General Hsieh Ming-Kuan Sworn in at the Agency on February 23, 2026

The Agency Against Corruption (AAC), Ministry of Justice, held a handover and swearing-in ceremony on February 23, 2026. Minister of Justice, Cheng Ming-Chien administered the oath of office. The ceremony was witnessed by Deputy Minister Huang Mou-Hsin, Prosecutor-General Hsing Tai-Chao of the Supreme Prosecutors Office, Chief Prosecutor Chang Tou-Hui of the Taiwan High Prosecutors Office, High-Level Government Ethics Offices from various agencies, and AAC colleagues.
Following the swearing-in, Minister Cheng offered his congratulations to Director-General Hsieh and expressed gratitude to all attendees. Minister Cheng remarked: “Ever since the AAC was established in 2011, its achievements have been clear for all to see. Taiwan rose to rank 24th globally in Transparency International’s 2025 Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI), marking our best-ever result. The result reflects the international community’s high recognition of our country’s achievements in integrity and clean governance, and we must remain committed to continuous improvement and look forward to the future with a clear vision.”
