To strengthen the consensus on anti-corruption of the Agency Against Corruption, Ministry of Justice (hereinafter referred to as the “Agency”) and the competent authorities at the national level and senior officials of anti-corruption institutions, and to share experiences and exchange opinions on the policy and directions of future anti-corruption work, the Agency held the First Conference of Competent Authorities at the National Level and Senior Officials of Anti-Corruption Institutions in 2019 on March 11, 2019, where the anti-corruption work policy and its direction were reported, and opinions were exchanged.

Minister Tsai Ching-Hsiang was invited to this conference, where he conveyed the important instructions of Premier Su Tseng-Chang of the Executive Yuan, stating that civil servants shall promote the work with the four principals: “what happened, how to resolve it, who will do it and when it can be done.” Namely, the civil servants shall be down-to-earth, understanding of the popular opinions, reflective of the popular opinions in a timely manner and more effective, and all matters shall be done in time and with good quality. We also look forward to elevating the execution efficiency by accelerating the anti-corruption work planning and implementation. We also request our colleagues in the anti-corruption institutions to adjust their mindsets and to plan and to push forward the anti-corruption goals with empathy in order to closely reflect the needs of the people.
